Jēkabpils opens mobile aid stations after storm
Following a storm, two mobile aid stations have been set up in Jēkabpils where residents can charge devices, use toilets and get drinking water. The points are open at the Jēkabpils People's House and the Krustpils Culture Centre.

After a recent storm hit Jēkabpils, the city administration has provided residents with additional support by opening two mobile aid stations.
Where the stations are located
One station is operating at the Jēkabpils People's House, and the other at the Krustpils Culture Centre. At both locations, residents can charge their mobile devices, use restroom facilities, and obtain drinking water.
The measure is intended to help residents most affected by the storm, for instance those left without electricity or other basic amenities at home. The mobile stations allow people to temporarily meet essential daily needs while the consequences of the storm are being addressed.
