Woodworking company SIA AmberBirch, based in the Jēkabpils region, has completed the largest development project in its history, investing approximately 51 million euros to modernize and expand its operations.

As a result of the project, the company's production capacity has doubled compared to previous levels. At the same time, modern technologies have been introduced at the plant, allowing for a significant expansion of birch plywood production.

The investment has also brought direct benefits to the local labor market, with the company creating 40 new jobs. This represents a meaningful contribution to the economy of the Jēkabpils region, where the woodworking sector is one of the most important sources of employment.

The company's largest project to date

According to available information, this has been the most ambitious development project in the company's operating history. The investment in modern equipment and technology reflects a strategic move by the company to strengthen its competitiveness in the birch plywood production sector.
