Work has begun in Jelgava to restore pedestrian paths in Alunāns Park, according to the municipal institution “Pilsētsaimniecība”.

As part of the renovation, the existing path surface is being reshaped and compacted to create a stable base. A new layer of gravel and crushed stone mixture will then be laid on top, forming the renewed surface of the paths.

Procurement

The Jelgava municipality held a public procurement process to select a contractor for the work. The company SIA “Kulk” was chosen as the winning bidder and is now carrying out the path restoration in the park.

The source report does not specify a completion date or the total cost of the project.
