Jelgava Crushes Super Nova 5-1 Away
Jelgava secured a convincing victory over Super Nova, scoring five goals and moving to 22 points in the league table.

In the 20th round of the Tonybet Latvian Higher League, Jelgava defeated Super Nova 5-1 away on Thursday. Jelgava led 3-1 at halftime.
Goals were scored by Rihards Bečers (21'), Gļebs Žaleiko (penalty 29', and later his second), Roberts Meļķis (32'), and Milošs Pudils. The home team's only goal came from Valerijs Lizunovs (41').
Super Nova has now gone six matches without a win. Previous meetings this season: 1-1 draw and a 1-0 win for Jelgava.
