Jelgava students win gold and bronze at Baltic Geography Olympiad

Two students from Jelgava Spīdola State Gymnasium have achieved outstanding results at the Baltic Geography Olympiad this year. One earned a gold medal, while the other received a bronze. Both young individuals will represent Latvia at the World Geography Olympiad next month. Furthermore, next year this prestigious competition will be hosted in Jelgava for the first time, highlighting the city's and the school's contribution to geography education. This achievement is not only a personal honor for the students but also demonstrates the competitiveness of Latvian youth on an international level.
