As a result, he could earn more than $70 million per season under the new deal.
Should Jokic sign such a contract, it would become the most valuable agreement in NBA history. Moreover, his total career earnings would amount to at least $724 million. Jokic entered the league in the 2014 NBA Draft, where he was selected with the 41st overall pick. Since then, he has won three MVP awards and an NBA championship title.
During the previous NBA season, Jokic played in 65 regular-season games and recorded averages of 27.7 points, 12.9 rebounds and 10.7 assists. These numbers demonstrate his level of performance and explain why he is expected to secure a record-breaking deal in the near future.
