Jonass crashes at start of MXGP qualifying in Arnhem, recovers to 17th
In the MXGP qualifying race in Arnhem, Pauls Jonass crashed right at the start and fought back from last place to finish 17th, while Jānis Reišulis held third in MX2 for a time before finishing fifth.

Latvian motocross riders had contrasting fortunes at the MXGP qualifying race held on the Arnhem track in the Netherlands.
Pauls Jonass, competing in the MXGP class, went down in a crash right at the start of the race. Following the incident he found himself among the last riders on track, but managed to steadily work his way forward over the course of the race, eventually crossing the finish line in 17th place.
Reišulis puts in a solid MX2 ride
Jānis Reišulis, racing in the MX2 class, held third position for part of the race before ultimately finishing fifth.
Both riders continue to represent Latvia on the international MXGP circuit, where competition is fierce and positions can shift quickly as races unfold.
