Jonass claims strong fourth overall in Sweden MXGP round, Reišulis fourth in MX2
At the Swedish round of the motocross world championship, Latvia's Pauls Jonass finished fourth overall in the MXGP class, while Jānis Mārtiņš Reišulis placed fourth in the MX2 class's first moto.

Latvian riders delivered solid performances at the Swedish round of the motocross world championship, though neither managed to reach the podium.
In the MXGP class, Pauls Jonass had an excellent first moto, moving into second place shortly after the start and holding that position all the way to the finish. His start in the second moto was also strong, but this time he was unable to maintain the pace and crossed the line in ninth place. Combining the results of both motos, Jonass secured a strong fourth-place finish for the round overall.
In the MX2 class, Latvia was represented by Jānis Mārtiņš Reišulis, who held third place for a long stretch of the first moto. However, by the finish he had to settle for fourth place.
Both results point to the competitiveness of Latvian riders in the top classes of the world championship, even though neither reached the podium at this particular round.
