Delfi remains Latvia’s most visited website in July; Inbox.lv moves to second

In July, delfi.lv was the most visited audited website in Latvia, reaching 792,000 real users including its mobile apps. Inbox.lv overtook tvnet.lv to take second place.

According to the latest data from internet research company Gemius, delfi.lv retained its position as the most visited audited website in Latvia in July. Together with its mobile apps, it reached 792,000 real users.

There was a shift in the website ranking: inbox.lv climbed one position, overtaking tvnet.lv. Inbox.lv attracted 744,400 users in July, while tvnet.lv had 742,800. Jauns.lv kept fourth place with 659,500 users, and 1188.lv moved up to fifth with 602,100 users.

Among the top ten, tv3.lv recorded the fastest audience growth, advancing to sixth place with 596,300 users. This figure includes the portal, its streaming content and the TV3Play app. Meanwhile, lsm.lv dropped two positions to seventh place with 570,500 users. It was followed by la.lv with 482,500, apollo.lv with 429,300 and santa.lv with 359,600.

In the second half of the ranking, bilesuparadize.lv showed one of the biggest gains, moving up three places to 14th position with 221,200 users.

In the media group ranking, Delfi remained the leader in July. The group, which includes delfi.lv, its mobile apps and bilesuparadize.lv, reached 860,300 real users, or 60.65% of Latvia’s internet audience. TVNET group came second with 824,600 users (58.13%), followed by Inbox group with 754,600 users (53.20%). The remaining top positions were held by Rīgas Viļņi, TV3, la.lv/TV24, Latvijas Vēstnesis and Santa groups.

Gemius’ study covers Latvian residents aged 15 to 75 who visited websites from computers, mobile phones and tablets. It counts real users rather than cookies or IP addresses. Gemius was founded in 1999 and is an international research company offering professional research, consulting, analysis and recommendations for online companies.
