An event long anticipated by residents of Jurmala will not take place on its originally scheduled date. The Color Run, which had been set for Sunday, August 23, has been pushed back by a week to Sunday, August 30.
The change was confirmed to the LETA news agency by the event's organizer, Kaspars Tupins, who said the decision was made because of an unfavorable weather forecast expected on the originally planned day.
By rescheduling rather than proceeding under poor conditions, organizers appear to have opted for the safer choice for participants. No further details were provided about the event's new format or any additional changes that may follow.
