Utah Jazz guard Trey Alexander stretchered off court in NBA Summer League
Utah Jazz guard Trey Alexander was taken off the court on a stretcher after appearing to injure his side during an NBA Summer League game against the Chicago Bulls.

Trey Alexander, who signed a two-way deal with the Utah Jazz last week, was stretchered off the court during Monday night's NBA Summer League game against the Chicago Bulls. The incident occurred with just over two minutes left in the fourth quarter. Alexander, driving to the basket, made contact with Bulls player Caleb Wilson. After releasing the ball toward the hoop, he went behind the basket, clutching his side or abdomen, and then fell to the ground in visible pain.
The 23-year-old was taken from the Thomas & Mack Center court on a stretcher. The Jazz did not immediately comment on the severity of Alexander's injury.
Alexander played three seasons at Creighton University and skipped his final year of eligibility to turn pro. He was named G League Rookie of the Year for the 2024-2025 season, having played 24 games for the Denver Nuggets that same season and nine games for the New Orleans Pelicans last season. Under his current contract, Alexander is set to play for the Jazz and their G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars.
