How to cancel your PlayStation Plus subscription: three easy ways
You can cancel PlayStation Plus via the web, on your console, or in the PlayStation app. Your benefits remain active until the paid period ends.
There are many reasons to end a PlayStation Plus subscription — maybe you're tired of price hikes, frustrated by the ever-changing game library, or unhappy with PlayStation's move away from physical games. Whatever the cause, canceling is only a few clicks away, and you can do it through a web browser, your console, or the PlayStation app.
Cancel via the web
Go to PlayStation.com and sign in to your account. Click your profile picture in the upper right-hand corner to open Account Settings. From the menu on the left, select "Subscription," then choose "Cancel Subscription."

The steps differ slightly between PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. On PS5, go to the Settings menu from the home screen, then select "Users and Accounts," "Account," and "Payment and Subscriptions." Find your PlayStation Plus subscription and choose "Cancel."
On PS4, go to Settings, then "Account Management," "Account Information," and "Subscriptions." Select your PlayStation Plus subscription and hit "Cancel."
Cancel in the PlayStation app
If you have the PlayStation app, open it, go to the PS Store from the bottom menu, and tap the menu icon in the top right. Select "Subscription Management" and then "Cancel" next to your subscription.
What happens after you cancel
Once you cancel, you won't be charged anymore, but you'll still have access to all subscription benefits until the end of the payment period. After that, you lose access to the game library, any monthly free games you claimed, online storage, and online multiplayer. Packs, avatars, and discounted purchases you made with the subscription are yours to keep.
If you change your mind, you can reactivate by going to subscription settings and selecting "Reactivate Subscription." If you do this before the next payment date, your current subscription stays active; otherwise, you'll need to buy a new one through the PlayStation Store.
