Amazon often lists thousands of versions of the same product from countless sellers, including obscure brands with no reviews. Because it is easy to become a seller on the platform, many listings come from questionable sources that reuse the same photos or use nonsensical brand names.
Buy directly from Amazon when possible
Items sold and shipped by Amazon.com are generally better monitored than third-party listings, often qualify for free two-day Prime shipping, and are easier to return. Shoppers can confirm this by checking for the "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com" label on a product page or by filtering search results by seller.
Watch out for fake discounts
