Kallas: EU not currently planning to return Usmanov and Fridman to sanctions list
The European Union is not planning to soon reinstate sanctions against Russian oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman, who were recently removed from the sanctions list. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said the issue is not currently being raised.

European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas has stated that the EU does not plan to raise the question of returning Russian oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman to the sanctions list in the near future.
Both oligarchs were recently removed from the EU sanctions list, a decision made under pressure from France and Slovakia.
Kallas's comments indicate that the matter of reinstating sanctions against them is not currently on the EU's agenda, despite their ties to Russia.
