Why there's currently only one pink MacBook you can buy
Apple's only pink laptop right now is the budget MacBook Neo in a shade called 'Blush,' while higher-end models like the MacBook Pro remain limited to silver and dark gray.

Right now, Apple offers a pink option on just one laptop: the entry-level MacBook Neo, finished in a shade the company calls 'Blush.' The color has drawn considerable attention on social media, especially among students, but the device itself is built for casual use and note-taking rather than demanding creative or professional work.
Since Apple phased out its 'Rose Gold' finish across its laptop range, the company has steered away from offering bold colors on its higher-end machines. The MacBook Air can be had in a pale blue, but anyone wanting a MacBook Pro is stuck choosing between traditional Silver and Space Black.
Color trends elsewhere
Bold colors have become increasingly common on other devices, particularly smartphones. Google's Pixel lineup has repeatedly offered pink variants, with the new Pixel 11 arriving in a vivid shade called Hibiscus, evoking older Motorola Razr designs. The modern foldable Razr itself is also available in a bright pink finish.
Apple clearly knows how to do bold colors elsewhere in its lineup. Two distinct pink shades are offered on the iPhone 16 and 17e, the base iPad with the A16 chip comes in a bright pink alongside an equally vivid yellow, and the M4 iMac offers several eye-catching color options, including pink. But moving up to the iPad Pro or MacBook Pro means settling for muted tones or the standard grays and silvers.
Rose Gold once served as a middle ground, appearing on iPhones through the mid-2010s, on MacBook Air models discontinued in 2019, and on Apple Watch, where it last appeared on the Series 11. With the Series 12 now out, that color option is gone entirely, leaving Night Blue — a notably dark tone — as the most colorful choice in the watch's current lineup.
Still, recent Pro-tier iPhones offer a hint of optimism: the iPhone 17 Pro came in a saturated orange, while the 18 Pro introduced burgundy and glacier blue options. With rumors swirling about a redesigned MacBook Pro lineup on the horizon, there may be room for Apple to finally bring more color to its laptops as well.
