Royal marriage still possible: which European princes and princesses remain unwed

Many assume that dreams of marrying into a European royal family are no longer realistic, since the best-known candidates — Britain's Prince William and Prince Harry — have been married for years. In reality, however, the pool of options is wider than it might seem.
Unmarried royals across several countries
Both within the British royal family and in other European and international monarchies, there remain a number of young princes, princesses and aristocrats whose personal lives are not officially tied to marriage. Such unmarried members of royal houses can be found, for example, in the royal families of Denmark, Spain and the Netherlands, as well as in the Jordanian monarchy.
Different positions within royal hierarchies
Among these unmarried royal representatives are some who could one day wear a crown as future heirs to the throne, while others are more distant descendants of their dynasties. The latter have no real prospect of becoming reigning monarchs, but they carry a famous surname and hold a place in the line of succession.
For anyone who has dreamed since childhood of life in a palace or a connection to a royal family, there is, in theory, still some hope — several unmarried and publicly noted members of royal families currently exist across Europe and the wider world.
