Curry limps off at Golden State practice ahead of NBA season
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry limped to the locker room during an open practice, but after speaking with his coach it was reported that there is no cause for concern. The team is already missing several players.

The Golden State Warriors of the NBA, the top professional basketball league in the United States, had a moment of concern before the new season: 38-year-old guard Stephen Curry limped to the locker room during an open practice watched by fans. The season starts this week, and the incident matters because the team already has plenty of health problems.
According to Nick Friedell of The Athletic, head coach Steve Kerr spoke with Curry after the session. The player reportedly told him everything was fine and there was no reason to worry.
Several players unavailable
The Warriors will have to begin the season without Kristaps Porzingis. The Latvian big man announced last Wednesday that he would stay off the court indefinitely and continue looking for a solution to his health issues. Jimmy Butler is not expected back until next year as he recovers from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. Moses Moody is also unavailable for now.
Curry and the new season
Last season was overshadowed by injuries for Curry, who played only 43 games because of knee problems. In those games the guard averaged 26.6 points, 4.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds.
Curry is preparing to start his 18th NBA season this week, when the Warriors play away against the Los Angeles Lakers.
