Kārlis Reišulis Crowned Dutch Masters Champion in MX2
Kārlis Reišulis secured the 2026 Dutch Masters MX2 title after finishing second in both races at the Halle final round. His brother Jānis Reišulis took third overall, while Pauls Jonass earned third in MX1.

Dutch Masters Final in Halle
At the final round of the Dutch Masters motocross championship in Halle, Latvian riders delivered strong performances. In the MX2 class, Kārlis Reišulis of the Yamaha factory team finished second in both races behind Belgian Liam Everts, who won the event. Reišulis trailed by 17 seconds in the first race and less than 10 seconds in the second. This gave him second place in the round, but enough to become the 2026 Dutch Masters MX2 champion.
His younger brother Jānis Reišulis, also on the Yamaha factory team, placed third in both races and overall.
In MX1, Latvian Pauls Jonass (Kawasaki) finished third in both races and the overall classification. The first race was won by Romain Febvre (Kawasaki), beating local rider Jeffrey Herlings (Honda) by just 0.3 seconds. Herlings turned the tables in the second race, defeating Febvre by over four seconds. Herlings won the Halle round and clinched the MX1 championship.
Other MXGP riders: Calvin Vlaanderen fourth, Jago Geerts fifth, and Jeremy Seewer sixth in his debut for Van Venrooy KTM.
In the 125cc class, Latvia's Jēkabs Hudolejs finished fourth in both races and overall. The winner was Timo Heuvers.
