Heatwave in Ukraine to subside from July 3; rain and thunderstorms forecast
Ukraine will experience hot and dry weather on July 2, but from July 3 temperatures are expected to drop with rain and thunderstorms, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

On July 2, Ukraine will remain hot and dry. Nighttime temperatures will range from 16°C to 23°C, while daytime highs will reach 27–34°C. In central and southern regions, temperatures may locally hit 35–37°C.
From July 3, a change is expected. In western regions, daytime temperatures will drop to 23–28°C, and rain with thunderstorms will begin. On July 3, precipitation will also affect northern, Vinnytsia, and Cherkasy regions.
By July 4, most of Ukraine, except the south and east, will see further cooling. Night temperatures will fall to 14–19°C, and daytime highs will be only 21–26°C. Hail and gusts up to 15–20 m/s are possible in some areas.
In Kyiv, July 2 will be dry with a night temperature of 21–23°C and a daytime high of 33°C. On July 3, rain is expected, with nighttime temperatures of 22–24°C and a daytime high of 29°C. On July 4, rain continues, with night temperatures of 20–22°C and a daytime high of just 23°C.
