A new segment of the show "Slavenības. Bez filtra" ("Celebrities. Unfiltered") shows Kaspars Kambala leaving the apartment he had shared with his wife Olga. The couple has ended their cohabitation, and Kambala is temporarily staying at a friends' hotel in Old Riga while he sorts out his affairs.
Olga speaks of relief
Walking through the now-empty apartment, Kambala remarks on the show that "one door closes, another opens." Olga, for her part, has not hidden her feelings about the split — she openly says that after her husband's departure she feels relieved and can finally live more peacefully, without conflict at home.
Going through the closets to see how much of her husband's belongings remained, Olga made ironic comments about their time together as a married couple. She also drew attention to drawings that had hung on the wall, saying they had concealed certain problems in the household — after taking down one of the pictures, a hole punched into the wall was revealed underneath.
Kambala on self-reliance
Kambala, meanwhile, stresses in the segment that he is capable of taking care of himself and does not need anyone else handling everyday household tasks for him. Following the move, he will stay at the hotel while arranging his future living situation.
