England's football team beat Croatia 4-2 in Arlington, USA, in the first round of World Cup Group L. The match was eventful and emotional.
In the first half, England won a penalty after Luka Modric fouled. Harry Kane missed the initial attempt, but the referee ordered a retake because Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic moved early. Kane scored on the second try (1:0). Croatia equalized through Martin Baturina's powerful shot from the edge of the box (1:1).
