Katy Perry shares glimpse of date with Justin Trudeau

Singer Katy Perry has shared several photos on Instagram with her partner, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The pictures were taken at the opening celebration of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, which the couple attended together. Perry and Trudeau first posed for photographers on the red carpet before touring the museum together.

Perry later posted two joint photos with Trudeau on her social media, including one showing him next to Star Wars characters R2-D2 and C-3PO. It had been more than a month since the singer last shared this many photos of the two of them together.

Anniversary and reflections

In August, the couple marked their first anniversary together. In a recent interview with People magazine, Perry revealed that meeting Trudeau was one of the most valuable things her Lifetimes Tour brought her. The singer said she had met the love of her life. She also shared that in August 2025 she had made a list of wishes, with the tenth item reading "true love" — something she said she now feels she is experiencing.

Perry admitted she had long longed for a big, legendary love, saying she had even discussed it with her therapist. She emphasized how much Trudeau's support means to her — he knows her song lyrics, supports her, and admires her work, for which she said she is very grateful.
