Ķekava heating tariff to rise by 23.3% from September
Heating utility SIA "Ķekavas nami" will raise its heat energy tariff by 23.3% starting September 1, bringing the price to 104.16 euros per megawatt-hour. The change is confirmed in the company's publicly disclosed tariff information.

Households and other heat energy consumers in the Ķekava municipality will face higher heating costs starting this autumn, as local supplier SIA "Ķekavas nami" increases its tariff.
Size of the increase
According to publicly disclosed information on the heat energy supply tariffs set by the company, the new rate will be 23.3% higher than the current one. As a result, consumers will pay 104.16 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh) of heat energy.
When it takes effect
The higher tariff will come into force on September 1 of this year. This means that households and other heat energy customers served by SIA "Ķekavas nami" in the Ķekava municipality will begin paying more for heating and related services from the start of autumn.
The tariff change has been made public in accordance with the procedures applicable to the company for setting and announcing heat energy supply service prices.
