Driver dies in car crash in Ķekava municipality

One driver died and another refused hospitalization after a two-car collision on Thursday in Ķekava municipality, according to State Police.

A fatal traffic accident occurred on Thursday at approximately 11:40 AM on the Rīgas HES–Pulkarne road in Ķekava municipality. A Toyota and a Volkswagen collided, resulting in the death of one driver. The other driver declined hospitalization. The State Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash. Traffic at the scene has been restored, as reported by Latvian State Roads.
