The Kekava Municipality has commenced the equipment of eight municipal shelters, utilizing 366,000 euros from European funds. Concurrently, the municipal council has adopted binding regulations that enable residents of multi-apartment buildings to apply for co-financing to establish shelters in the basements of their homes.
