A helicopter crashed on the morning of August 19 near Mount Ololokwe in Samburu County in northern Kenya, killing all five people on board, including American businessman and millionaire Roger Duarte. The news was reported by The New York Post, citing information from Kenyan authorities.
According to Kenya's Civil Aviation Authority, the helicopter was flying from the Loisaba conservancy toward the Ewaso Ng'iro river at the time of the crash.

Roger Duarte was a well-known entrepreneur in the food and restaurant industry. He founded George Stone Crab, a company specializing in the sale and delivery of Florida stone crabs, and was also a co-founder of the My Ceviche restaurant chain. In 2016, he was included in Forbes' "30 Under 30" list in the food and beverage category.
