Kenyan runners set new records at Tallinn Half Marathon
Kenyan athletes won both the men's and women's races at the half marathon held as part of the Tallinn Marathon, setting new event records. More than five thousand people took part.

Kenyan runners dominated the half marathon held on Saturday as part of the Tallinn Marathon, with both the men's and women's winners setting new course records.
Men's race
Vincent Kiptoo won the 21.1-kilometer race with a time of 59 minutes and 48 seconds. Organizers noted this marked the first time in the history of the Estonian half marathon that the distance was covered in under an hour.
Fellow Kenyan Johana Eroth took second place with a time of 1:00.51, while Enos Kipruto Saat finished third at 1:01.22. Edwin Kiprop Kiptoo placed fourth with 1:01.49. The top Estonian finisher was Leonid Latsepov, who came fifth with a time of 1:04.20.
Women's race
A Kenyan athlete also won the women's competition. Regina Wambui Ndungu finished seventh overall and set a new Tallinn Half Marathon record with a time of 1:07.35. Fellow Kenyan Winsam Jerono took second among women with 1:10.29, while Moroccan runner Soukaina Atanane finished third at 1:11.24.
The best-placed Estonian woman was Pille Hinn, who finished sixth with a time of 1:23.02.
More than five thousand people took part in the Tallinn Half Marathon overall.
