Kenneth Walker's late brace lifts Chiefs past Raiders in Las Vegas
The Kansas City Chiefs pulled away late to beat the Las Vegas Raiders 30-19 in a Week 4 clash between two previously unbeaten teams.

Two 3-0 teams met Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as the Kansas City Chiefs visited the Raiders. Kansas City entered as favorites, though by a narrower margin than their recent dominance of the rivalry would suggest — the Chiefs have won 18 of the last 22 meetings between the sides.
How the game unfolded
The Raiders struck first, with Kirk Cousins hitting Ian Thomas for a 27-yard touchdown. The Chiefs answered through Patrick Mahomes' touchdown pass to Tyquan Thornton to tie the game at 7-7. Las Vegas then used two Matt Gay field goals to take a 13-10 lead into halftime, according to NBC Sports.
The second half stayed tight. Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker, who entered the week as the NFL's leading rusher with 360 yards through three games, scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns, including the clinching score after the Raiders fumbled deep in their own territory. Thornton, filling in for injured top receiver Rashee Rice, caught two touchdowns and racked up 111 yards before suffering a serious lower-leg injury late in the fourth quarter following a 55-yard reception.
The lead changed hands repeatedly down the stretch — Gay's 44- and 48-yard field goals briefly put Las Vegas back in front — before Kansas City closed the game with back-to-back touchdowns to win 30-19.
Context
Much of the pregame storyline centered on Mahomes, who tore his ACL last season and ended his year early but has looked sharp and mobile in 2026. The Raiders leaned on their pass rush, led by Maxx Crosby, with Las Vegas trailing only the Vikings in total pressures generated league-wide entering the game. The matchup aired on CBS and Fubo in the US, Sky Sports in the UK, and DAZN and Fubo in Canada.
