Ketija Vihmane Extends Contract with Polish Club Sleza

Latvian basketball player Ketija Vihmane has agreed to a one-season extension with Polish top-tier club Sleza Wrocław, her agency announced.

Latvian basketball player Ketija Vihmane has extended her contract with Polish league club Sleza Wrocław. The announcement was made on Tuesday via X by her agency, Future Sports Group. The new deal keeps Vihmane with the team for an additional season.

Last season, the 25-year-old guard averaged 7.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 22.3 minutes per game in the Polish league. In the FIBA EuroCup, she recorded averages of 9.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists across eight appearances.

Earlier in her career, Vihmane spent three seasons playing in Liepāja, Latvia, followed by two seasons in Germany. In the 2024/2025 season, she competed for TTT Rīga. This summer, she represented Latvia in the 3x3 Basketball World Cup, reaching the round of 16.

In the previous season, alongside Digna Strautmane, Vihmane helped Sleza win the Polish Cup for the first time in club history.
