TSC, a company specializing in the repair of household appliances and smart devices and part of the Latvijas Mobilais Telefons (LMT) corporate group, has experienced a cyberattack resulting in unauthorized access to a portion of its customer data.

According to available information, approximately 7% of the company's total customer data was compromised in the attack. The customers most affected are those who submitted devices for repair through the company's website, as the attack was specifically directed at that platform.

LMT's own databases unaffected

LMT has emphasized that its own databases were not impacted by the incident — the attack targeted TSC's website system specifically, rather than the parent company's broader infrastructure or data.

No detailed information has yet been released regarding the exact type of data accessed, the precise number of customers affected, or what measures are being or will be taken to mitigate further risk and notify impacted customers.
