Kyiv drone strike damages private house, one person injured
A Russian drone struck a private house in Kyiv's Dnipro district on the evening of September 22, injuring one person. The overall number of casualties from the evening attack on the capital has risen to nine.
A Russian drone hit the grounds of a private house in Kyiv's Dnipro district on the evening of September 22, damaging the building's façade and shattering windows, Kyiv's State Emergency Service (DSNS) reported.
The injured person was hospitalized. The service also released photographs taken at the site.
Fire in Obolon district
A separate fire broke out the same evening in Kyiv's Obolon district but has already been extinguished. No casualties were reported in that incident.
Casualty count keeps rising
The total number of people injured in the evening attack on the capital has now reached nine. Russian forces struck Kyiv with jet-powered drones on the evening of September 22, injuring eight people in the Obolon district alone. Impacts were also recorded in the Pecherskyi and Dnipro districts.
In Obolon district, the Russian strike hit fuel storage tanks as well as a non-residential building.
