Air raid alerts sounded twice in Kyiv and regions overnight due to ballistic threat

On the night of July 18, air raid alerts were issued twice in Kyiv and several Ukrainian regions because of a ballistic missile threat from Taganrog. The second alert was canceled at 2:06 AM.

During the night of July 18, air raid alerts were declared twice in Kyiv and a number of Ukrainian regions in response to the threat of ballistic weapons. The Kyiv City Military Administration urged residents to immediately proceed to shelters.

The first alert was issued at 12:44 AM, followed by a second alert later in the night. The Ukrainian Air Force reported on social media that the threat originated from the use of ballistic weapons from Taganrog. The all-clear signal was given at 2:06 AM.

Local authorities emphasized the importance of safety, calling on citizens to take cover promptly during the alerts. This marked the second air raid warning in a single night, highlighting the ongoing security challenges in the region.
