Another child dies in hospital after Russian attack on Kyiv region

A child has died in a hospital after being wounded during a Russian attack on the Vyshhorod district of Kyiv region on the evening of September 19, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. The death raises the total number of people killed in the recent attacks on the region to four — among them three children and one woman.

Damage across several districts

According to the regional administration, Russian attacks lasting more than a day damaged 31 objects across five districts of Kyiv region. The Fastiv district suffered the most destruction, with 24 damaged objects including residential buildings, industrial and utility premises, the territory of an agricultural enterprise, and 17 vehicles.

In the Vyshhorod district, two private homes, a company's premises, and an educational institution were damaged. Further damage was reported in the Obukhiv, Brovary and Bucha districts.

As of the time of reporting, a drone attack on the region was still ongoing.

Earlier victims

On September 19, a mother and two young children were killed in a Russian attack in the Fastiv district, while a mother and child were injured in the Vyshhorod district. It has now been confirmed that one of the injured children from Vyshhorod has died in hospital.
