Five killed in tragic car crash in Kyiv region
A head-on collision between two cars on the Boryspil–Dnipro highway in Kyiv region claimed five lives and left two people injured.

A serious road accident occurred near the village of Rohoziv on the Boryspil–Dnipro highway, according to regional police. Preliminary investigation shows that a 70-year-old driver of a Renault Sandero attempted to overtake, veered into the oncoming lane, and collided with a Nissan Altima driven by a 35-year-old man.
The impact killed the Renault driver and two female passengers aged 95 and 75, as well as a 40-year-old passenger in the Nissan, all at the scene. A 69-year-old female passenger in the Renault later died in hospital despite medical efforts. The Nissan driver and an 18-year-old passenger in the Renault were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
This incident follows another recent tragedy in the region: on the evening of June 19, in Brovary (Kyiv region), a VAZ car crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a bus, killing two children aged 2 and 4 and seriously injuring eight others.
