Latvia's anti-corruption bureau issues four warnings over illegal campaign activity
While monitoring the pre-election campaign, Latvia's Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) has issued four warnings over unauthorised campaigning, following an active flow of public reports.

Latvia's Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB), which is monitoring the ongoing pre-election campaign, has issued four warnings related to suspected unauthorised political campaigning.
The bureau says residents have been notably active in reporting suspected violations. A number of these reports concern candidates' participation in various public events, which may point to breaches of campaigning rules.
Suspicions over use of administrative resources
Other reports submitted by the public raise concerns that certain candidates or parties may be using administrative resources for campaign purposes — meaning public resources or official positions that should not be applied toward political campaigning.
KNAB is continuing to collect and assess the submissions it receives in order to determine whether campaigning rules have been breached in specific cases. The bureau highlights public involvement as an important tool for uncovering violations during the campaign period.
