Abandoned Apartment Building Burns in Kohtla-Järve

In the early hours of Wednesday, shortly after 4 a.m., a fire was reported in an abandoned apartment building on Bricketi Street in Kohtla-Järve. The emergency center received the alert, and firefighters quickly arrived at the scene. The fire had engulfed one apartment, and it took approximately one hour to extinguish the blaze. Rescuers noted that the entrance to the building was unlocked, and various rooms contained a large amount of combustible materials, which contributed to the fire's spread. Fortunately, as the building was unoccupied, no injuries were reported.
