Police search for missing man last seen in Koknese
Latvian police are searching for Andrejs Fjodorovs-Maksimovs, born in 1970, who left his home in Koknese on October 1 and has not returned since.

The Eastern Zemgale unit of the State Police's Zemgale regional department has launched a search for a man reported missing. The man in question is Andrejs Fjodorovs-Maksimovs, born in 1970, who disappeared from his home area in Aizkraukle municipality.
Circumstances of the disappearance
According to police information, the man left his residence on Lāčplēša Street in Koknese at 6:00 a.m. on October 1 this year and has not returned home since.
Description
Fjodorovs-Maksimovs is 191 centimeters tall, of thin build, with short gray hair. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a black hooded windbreaker, dark trousers, and blue-and-white sports shoes.
Appeal to the public
The State Police is asking residents to view the published photograph of the man and to come forward if they have any information about his possible whereabouts. Tips can be reported by calling the emergency number 112.
