Magazine Ir has published an interview with communications consultant and entrepreneur Marija Vorkule about her attitude toward money, risk and investing while building her own business.

Latvian magazine Ir has published an interview with communications consultant and entrepreneur Marija Vorkule, whose professional path began as an independent public relations consultant.
Vorkule now runs her own company, Vertex Co, which works with both local and international clients. Alongside running her business, she is pursuing a PhD in communication science and lectures at several universities, including the University of Latvia, Riga Technical University, the University of Economics and Culture, and RISEBA.
Interview themes
The conversation covers Vorkule's journey from being self-employed to leading her own company, as well as her attitude toward risk in business. The interview also touches on how the process of building a business changes a person's relationship with personal finances and money in general.
Vorkule also shares her experience of building her own investment portfolio. One of the interview's starting points is the question of how financial literacy differs at the personal level compared to that of an entrepreneur — a topic relevant to a wider audience considering the move from employment or freelance work toward running their own company.
The full interview is available on the Ir magazine website.
