According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, as of 22:00 on July 17, 229 combat engagements occurred on the front lines. The enemy carried out 68 airstrikes, dropped 175 guided bombs, used 6,231 kamikaze drones, and conducted 2,225 shellings against populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.
Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled attacks in multiple directions. In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, two attacks were repelled. In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction – 14 attacks, Kupiansk – 1, Lyman – 16, Sloviansk – 23, Kramatorsk – 6, Kostiantynivka – 13, Pokrovsk – 34, Oleksandrivka – 1, Huliaipole – 22, and Orikhiv direction – 2 attacks.
