Kostiantynivka direction sees most intense fighting on front over past day
Ukraine's General Staff reports 188 combat clashes over the past 24 hours, with the highest concentration — 18 assaults — occurring in the Kostiantynivka direction, while 15 Russian attacks were recorded near Pokrovsk.
Ukraine's General Staff reported 188 combat engagements along the front line over the past day, according to its evening summary compiled as of 22:00. The Kostiantynivka direction saw the most intense activity, with Ukrainian defense forces repelling 18 Russian assaults near the city itself and toward several nearby settlements. Two of these assault actions were still ongoing at the time of reporting.
The Pokrovsk direction was the second most active area, where occupying forces made 15 attempts to advance toward a number of settlements.
Fighting across other sectors
In the Northern Sloboda and Kursk directions, two enemy assault actions were recorded, along with 74 strikes against Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas. In the Southern Sloboda direction, enemy forces attacked Ukrainian unit positions six times toward several villages.
In the Kupiansk direction, occupiers made two attempts to improve their positions, while in the Lyman direction Ukrainian forces repelled seven attempts by invaders to advance — one of which was still continuing. In the Sloviansk direction, defense forces stopped three attempts by occupying forces to move forward.
In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian forces repelled one enemy attack.
