Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has told Russian media that the so-called energy truce between Russia and Ukraine, proposed by US President Donald Trump, has not yet been given concrete content. This means the warring sides still have not agreed on how, or whether, attacks on energy facilities will be halted.

Peskov, who is the press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, made the remarks when asked about Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure overnight. Trump announced the ceasefire, which would stop strikes on the energy facilities of both countries, unilaterally.

According to Peskov, work in this direction is continuing. At the same time, he gave no clear answer on whether Moscow supports the US president's initiative at all.

Meanwhile, the Russian army is continuing massive strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities, even though talks on a possible truce are still under way. The source notes that Peskov's statement came amid the attacks, after the truce had already been announced.
