Russia claims it shot down 1,158 Ukrainian drones in a single day

The claims come shortly after Ukrainian forces carried out strikes overnight on August 1–2 against several Russian military targets, including the Saratov oil refinery, the Engels airfield, a fuel depot in Kaluga Oblast, and other facilities.
A drone attack also caused a fire at a Wildberries logistics center in the settlement of Novosemeikino in Russia's Samara Oblast. The company confirmed the blaze and redirected the receiving and shipping of goods to other facilities.
