Russian drones strike food industry warehouse in Mykolaiv region
Russian drones hit a food industry company's warehouse in Mykolaiv region on Saturday evening, sparking a fire. Regional authorities say Russian strikes have already destroyed about 90% of Ukraine's modern storage capacity.
A warehouse belonging to a food industry company in Mykolaiv district was damaged in a Russian drone attack, according to Heorhii Reshetilov, head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration.
Reshetilov said that on Saturday evening Russia struck Mykolaiv district with Shahed-type drones. The attack damaged the warehouse of one food industry enterprise, and a fire broke out at the site of impact.

According to Ukraine's Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Russian strikes have already destroyed roughly 90% of Ukraine's modern storage facilities.
This is not an isolated incident. On the night of August 5, Russian strikes damaged or destroyed four Fozzy Group distribution centers that supplied the Silpo, Fora and Thrash! retail chains, killing six employees.
On August 27, a Russian strike damaged a warehouse belonging to the KOLO grocery chain, and the same day a warehouse in Kyiv region used by the Fora chain was also hit — that facility had been in operation for only four days. Earlier, on August 20, a Russian strike damaged a Fora warehouse storing fresh produce in Martusivka, Kyiv region, a distribution center that had been running for just one week.
