Russia strikes three districts of Kharkiv with drones, two civilians injured

On the evening of September 9, Russian drones struck three districts of Kharkiv, damaging residential buildings and injuring two civilians, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported.

On Tuesday evening, around 10:30 pm, Russian forces carried out a drone attack on Ukraine's second-largest city, Kharkiv, hitting three districts of the city at once. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported the attack.

The Kyivskyi, Slobidskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts came under fire.

Damage and casualties

In the Slobidskyi district, a drone struck near high-rise buildings located on the grounds of an educational institution. The blast wave shattered windows in nearby buildings, and two people were injured.

Another drone hit a multi-story residential building in the Kholodnohirskyi district, while in the Kyivskyi district an attack drone struck a civilian car.

City authorities continue to assess the extent of the damage in the affected districts.
