Russian drone strikes hit three districts of Kharkiv, two civilians injured

On the evening of September 9, at around 10:30 p.m., Russian forces launched a drone attack on several districts of Kharkiv, causing damage to residential buildings and injuring two people. The information was reported by the city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov, citing data gathered by local authorities.

Areas affected

Three districts of Kharkiv came under attack — Kyivskyi, Slobidskyi, and Kholodnohirskyi. Each strike produced different consequences.

In the Slobidskyi district, a drone struck near multi-story apartment buildings located on the grounds of an educational institution. The blast wave shattered windows in nearby buildings, and two people were injured.

A second drone hit an apartment building in the Kholodnohirskyi district, causing damage to the structure. In the Kyivskyi district, an attack drone struck a civilian car.

City authorities have not provided further details on the condition of the injured or on how the situation might develop further.
