The attacks have disrupted civilian supply chains in Kyiv, affecting the delivery of goods and services to residents. Among the damaged sites was a book warehouse in Kyiv Oblast, underscoring the broad scope of the strikes and their impact on civilian infrastructure.
Ukraine trials new defense capabilities
Amid the sustained threat, Ukraine continues to develop its air defense capabilities. The country has been testing new interceptor systems designed to more effectively counter Russian drone and missile attacks.
Strike on Russian oil refinery
Overnight, Ukraine struck one of Russia's largest oil refineries — the second-largest in the country. Such strikes form part of Ukraine's broader strategy of undermining Russia's ability to finance the war by targeting its energy and oil infrastructure.
The conflict between the two countries has now continued for more than four years, with both sides carrying out strikes affecting military and civilian targets alike.
