The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported that Russian forces launched 923 strikes on 51 settlements across the region within a single day. Two people were killed and three more were wounded as a result.

Types of attacks

According to Fedorov, Russian troops carried out 20 airstrikes on several settlements, including Komyshuvakha, Zarichne and Orikhiv.

Drones made up the bulk of the assault, with 659 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types recorded, most of them FPV drones. These struck dozens of locations, including the city of Zaporizhzhia itself, Vilniansk and the village of Kanivske.

Four attacks using multiple rocket launcher systems hit the settlements of Kushuhum, Rozumivka and Veselianka. In addition, 240 artillery strikes were recorded across a range of settlements, including Stepnohirsk, Prymorske and Orikhiv.

Damage

Fedorov said authorities received 43 reports of damage to homes, vehicles and infrastructure facilities in the region.

Zaporizhzhia region has long been one of the most active combat zones in Ukraine, with residents regularly enduring artillery, drone and air attacks from Russian forces.
