Russia launches 50–60 aerial assets in strikes on Odesa Oblast daily
Odesa Oblast sees at least 10 air raid warnings per day, with Russia using 50–60 drones and missiles daily. In the past week, 18 people were killed and 69 injured, including six children.
Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration, reported that the region is under constant combined attacks by Russian UAVs and various types of missiles. Over recent days, at least 10 air raid warnings have been recorded daily. In the past week alone, Russian attacks on Odesa Oblast killed 18 people and injured 69, including six children. During this period, Russia directed approximately 300 aerial assets against the region – 50 to 60 per day.
Kiper also stated that 40 beach zones have been opened in Odesa Oblast, which have been inspected, equipped with shelters, and are considered relatively safe. However, he emphasized that beaches were opened not for tourism but for the well-being of citizens, primarily military personnel, veterans, and their children, who are under constant stress due to the war. Kiper urged people not to visit beaches that do not meet safety requirements. He explained that drones and missiles mostly approach from the sea, making the beach zone the first line of air defense operations. Therefore, it is extremely important not to ignore air raid warnings and to immediately head to a shelter when one is issued.
