Russia hits Kryvyi Rih with drone strikes overnight, two people hospitalized
Russian forces carried out a massive drone attack on Kryvyi Rih overnight into September 10, damaging residential buildings, schools and cultural sites. Two injured people are currently in surgery.
Overnight into September 10, Russian forces launched a large-scale drone attack on the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, according to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city's defense council, who reported the strike on Telegram.
According to Vilkul, attack drones struck five locations in the city's Tsentralno-Miskyi and Saksahanskyi districts. Several sites recorded direct hits on residential buildings.
Two injured
Two people were injured in the attack. One victim's condition is described as severe, while the other's is classified as moderate. Both were in the operating room at the time the information was reported.
Damage to infrastructure
The strike damaged private houses, while windows were blown out and structures damaged in multi-story apartment buildings. In addition to residential areas, buildings belonging to educational institutions, cultural facilities, and local businesses also sustained damage.
