On the night of September 13, Russian forces attacked Odesa again, hitting a multi-storey residential building for the second time within 24 hours. Serhii Lysak, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported the damage and urged residents to remain in safe locations until the threat passes.

Previous attack

A severe strike hit Odesa earlier, around 5:30 a.m. on September 12, when the Russian military launched a missile attack on the city. The strike damaged a residential apartment building and injured 26 people, including a five-month-old infant.

Later, as rescue crews worked to clear the rubble of the damaged building, they discovered the body of one person beneath the debris.

Attack on postal branch

On the evening of September 12, Russian forces also struck a "Nova Poshta" postal branch in Odesa region with a jet-powered drone, injuring two civilians.

The threat to Odesa residents remains ongoing, and local authorities continue to urge caution and call on people to stay in safe places.
